DON'T PANIC

Greetings reader. The new year is almost upon us and I'm probably not alone in reminiscing about the good times (seeing Deathly Hallows part I) and the bad (not seeing Deathly Hallows part II) from 2010. In celebration of the Earth continuing to revolve around the sun, I have decided to start a new blog. So, here it is...

Tabula Rasa 3.0 will follow my exploits in Costa Rica. Oh yeah, if you didn't know, I will be spending the next year (at least) in Costa Rica teaching English. I leave on January 3rd, which is surprisingly soon. So naturally, instead of packing, I'm procrastinating by starting this blog. I've learned not to stress too much about packing and planning because no matter how much you plan, you will inevetibly forget something important and something will go wrong. That's just the nature of traveling. I do have my towel, which is the most useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have.

(Didn't you miss my random references thrown tactlessly into my life updates?)

I'm definitely excited about what 2011 will bring and my resolution to you is that I will update this blog at least once a week with stories and pictures. Although I'm currently unable to locate the cord that connects my camera to my computer...I should go find that.

¡Prospero Año Nuevo!
